Our Story

Welcome to Amish Welcome Center - Wagon Tours, your friendly gateway to an authentic Amish Country experience in Ethridge, TN. Since 2008, we’ve been proud to serve as the area’s premier tourist information center, offering visitors a one of a kind look into the rich culture, craftsmanship, and charm of the local Amish community. Whether you're stopping by for a relaxing wagon tour, picking up a free Amish map, or just looking for the only public restrooms in the area, we’re here to make your visit unforgettable.

Our story began with a simple idea: to create a place where visitors could not only explore Amish culture through engaging tours, but also find a variety of locally made and hand-selected goods they couldn’t get anywhere else. We’ve built a warm, welcoming environment where guests feel at home the moment they step through the door. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable team, who are always happy to answer questions, share local insights, or help you find the perfect souvenir.

Our wagon tours are the heart of what we do, giving you a front row seat to Amish life in the peaceful countryside. Led by personable guides who know the community well, these tours offer a unique opportunity to see Amish farms, businesses, and way of life up close, all while riding in a comfortable, horse-drawn wagon. It’s a relaxing and educational experience that gives you a deeper appreciation for the traditions, simplicity, and craftsmanship of the Amish.

Inside the Welcome Center, you’ll discover a wide variety of Amish goods and souvenirs, including handmade quilts, soaps, candles, lotions, leatherwork, cutting boards, rolling pins, and more. We also carry vintage glassware, antiques, and locally themed T-shirts, including exclusive Amish Country designs that you won’t find anywhere else. Every item is chosen with care, offering you a chance to take a little piece of Amish Country home with you.

What truly sets us apart is our personal touch. We’re not just a stop on the map; we’re a part of your journey. Our team is passionate about helping you have a great time while learning something new and meaningful. Whether you're here for the day or just passing through, we invite you to experience the warmth, authenticity, and charm of Amish Welcome Center - Wagon Tours.
